Welcome to Taurus API and product documentation. Before diving into more details, Taurus' technology products consist of four components. Taurus financial services products are available in a separate and dedicated section (see here for FIX APIs and here for Rest APIs)

1. Taurus-PROTECT

Taurus-PROTECT is Taurus' enterprise-grade custody solution. It is being used by some of the most sophisticated enterprises in the world such as State Street, Deutsche Bank, Credit-Agricole/Caceis, Swissquote, etc.

• Hardware root of trust: secrets, secure operations are protected using hardware root of trust in FIPS 140-2 Level 3 or Level 4 Hardware security modules (HSMs). Our open-source and MPC protocol can be combined with HSMs adding an ultimate level of security.
• Security and transparency at the heart of what we do: we are technology firm that is regulated. We are subject to more than 10 audits per year. Our clients can audit us and have access to our source code including the most sensitive part(s) of it.
• Most granular policy engine: Taurus-PROTECT provides granular roles and policy engine able to define controls down to the smart contract function level whether part of existing smart contract templates or created dynamically by clients (no hardcoding).
• All temperatures - hot, warm, and cold : Taurus-PROTECT can be deployed in (i) hot, (ii) warm, and (iii) cold set-ups. For cold, Taurus-PROTECT can be used either through a technical or physical airgap depending on clients' risk tolerances and regulatory requirements.
• Flexible deployment models: Taurus-PROTECT can be deployed in (i) SaaS, (ii) hybrid i.e., part SaaS, part on-premises, and (iii) fully on-premises depending on clients' security posture and regulatory requirements.

2. Taurus-CAPITAL

Taurus-CAPITAL is Taurus' tokenisation platform, build since 2020. It is full integrated with Taurus-PROTECT

• Largest coverage in the industry : We provide full support to EVM (L1, L2) and non-EVM (Solana, Stellar, Hedera, Tezos etc.). Battle-tested in production. Our clients have issues all types of financial instruments including equity, debt, funds (money market), cash i.e., stable coins, art, etc.
• Smart contract agnostic: Taurus-CAPITAL allows clients to use a very wide range of smart contract templates and issue their "own" smart contracts without any constraints or intervention from Taurus (no hardcoding). It also allows clients to use third-party contracts issued by third-parties, assuming they pass our clients' security reviews.
• Fully integrated with custody, since 2020: Taurus-CAPITAL is fully integrated with Taurus-PROTECT, which means our clients can issue and service any smart contract of their choice, with the same platform, which has been honed and improved since 2020.
• Flexible deployment models: similar to Taurus-PROTECT, Taurus-CAPITAL can also be deployed in (i) SaaS, (ii) hybrid i.e., part SaaS, part on-premises, and (iii) fully on-premises depending on clients' security posture and regulatory requirements.

3. Taurus-NETWORK

Taurus-NETWORK allows our clients, that use Taurus-PROTECT, to interact with each other.

• Collateral management engine: Taurus-NETWORK embeds a collateral management engine that facilitates syndicated loans as well as crypto-backed and securities lending. If clients are limited by your balance sheet, they can tap into other network participants' capacity to syndicate loans.
• Automate operations with granular rules, APIs & webhooks: Taurus-NETWORK allows participates to automate and check in, real-time, settlement. It provides a "clip settlement" feature where clients can define "clips" that are triggered automatically upon client-defined conditions.
• Network Security: There's no exposure to Taurus. Clients are never required to send their assets to Taurus or a shared address. Counterparty risks strictly limited to network participants.

4. Taurus-EXPLORER

Taurus-EXPLORER is Taurus' API-first node and indexing platform. It allows clients

• Unified API: We abstract the complexity of the underlying blockchains and built an unified API covering more than 30 (thirty) blockchains as of January 2026.
• Index the blockchain: Clients do not need to build resource-heavy indexing platform. We built indexing for them.
• Broadcast transaction: Taurus-EXPLORER includes reliable broadcasting algorithms. In conjunction with Taurus-PROTECT, clients can "sign and forget" do not need to worry about whether a transaction has been mined.
• Fetch blockchain information in real-time: Clients can get real-time information on addresses balances, transactions, gas fees, b
